My Story

I'm John, I am the Director of Redstone Ecology, setting up the company in 2022 to provide high quality ecological consultancy services. I have been working as a professional ecologist since 2005. I am a full member of CIEEM and hold Natural England survey licences for bats, dormouse and great crested newt. I have extensive experience of providing ecological inputs into large and small scale development projects across the UK including 50MW PV schemes, residential housing applications, retirement homes, holiday park home extensions, barn conversions and road improvement schemes.

I'm passionate about ecology and enjoy helping clients to deliver their projects across the UK.

When I do not have my head down a badger sett I am out exploring the South West either on my road bike or with my two young daughters on a beach or on Dartmoor.
